Stroopwafels-Made of 2 wafers with syrup. Drop-Licorice, many flavours are available. Zoute Haring-It is salty preserved raw herring.

Vla-A sweet thick pudding made mainly from milk & offered in a variety of flavours from vanilla & chocolate to strawberry.
Poffertjes-These are very small pancakes served warm with icing sugar sprinkled on top. Kroket & Frinkandel-Sausage like both contain meat & are fried. These are tasty mashed on bread & served with Dutch mustard. Gevulde Kanos-These are almond flavored finger cookies that are very dense & great with tea or coffee. Hagelslag-Chocolate sprinkles typically served on bread for breakfast. |
